About Matt Stacey
Matt is a Wedding sax player with many years of experience.
He usually plays sax through the afternoon drinks reception and wedding breakfast.
He often also plays for the ceremony.
Up to 3½ hours of saxophone playing spread throughout the daytime.
Based in Yorkshire. All areas of Great Britain covered.
Music
Matt has a broad repertoire but always with an emphasis on well-known songs, a warm and cheerful sound, but also mellow and unobtrusive.
As well as a saxophonist, he is also an arranger, keyboard player and guitarist. He records all of his own arrangements and unique backing tracks specifically for sax as smooth background music. Everything you hear is all Matt.
He plays everything from memory – He doesn’t stand behind a music stand.
If there is a special song you are thinking of, please enquire. Matt will try to cater for special requests where possible.
Equipment
Matt has several speaker systems that he can set up in different areas (including outside – weather permitting) before the day’s events begin. He can then relocate from one area to another without having to move any equipment.
He has a clip-on radio mic system so he can wander around while playing (if appropriate).
All electrical equipment PAT tested.
MU Public Liability Insurance. Matt will forward these to your wedding venue.
